What makes your products special?
Our vision is to offer the highest qualtity chocolate and candy products in the US that can be personalized with your logo and design.
Can I order just one/ a few products for personal use?
Since 2017 we have changed our production setup away from small batch production which is required for highly customized "one-offs" to a production system that is better geared for high volume corporate orders. The only products we currently offer that do not require a minimum are our popular gift baskets which you can order directly through the website. All other products are tied to a minimum order quantity which is specified on the respective product pages.
How can I create my own chocolate bar/ chocolate picture bar/ macaron box?
Unfortunately we have discontinued consumer products in 2017 due to a variety of factors. We always had the vision that ordering custom chocolate for personal use should be easy and affordable. Increasing shipping costs paired with slower transit times resulted in significant problems with getting small orders delivered to customers without meltage. The only way to avoid this was to switch shipping providers from USPS to UPS/ Fedex. Due to their pricing structure that is geared towards larger/ heavier shipments, residential surcharges, fuel surcharges etc. we were no longer able to provide a reasonable and affordable shipping solution with free shipping over a certain order amount. We couldn't justify charging 10x the price of a chocolate bar for shipping alone. That's why we shifted our product line towards high end corporate chocolate gifts that can be personalized with company logos and custom packaging solutions in 2017.
Can I order your products for my wedding?
Absolutely! Many of our products make for great wedding favors or wedding decorations and the minimum order requirements should work for most scenarios. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you would like to get ideas for your wedding.
Are your products Kosher?
Most of our products are Kosher certified. Certain products are more difficult to get certified than others (such as items containing marshmallows).
What are the allergy alerts associated with your products?
We are in the process of getting more and more products certified and we list the certification status on every product page. If you are unsure, please feel free to reach out to us via phone or email.
All of our products may contain traces of nuts, milk, and gluten.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Typically all chocolate items have a shelf life of about 1 year. Chocolate does not need to be refrigerated, in fact we recommend storing it at room temperature. You will find the exact shelf life of each item on in the Product Details section of the particular product.
... Turnaround & Shipping
The turnaround time depends on the products that you are interested in. Our regular turnaround time is between 5-7 business days. However, some items require a little extra time. We have listed the turnaround time for each of our branded business gifts on the respective product page. If you are under a time crunch and are looking to get a corporate order turned around faster, chances are we can squeeze you into our production schedule. Please reach out at your earliest convenience and will do our best to accommodate your request. For some items there may be a rush fee for expedited production turnaround.
What are my shipping options?
We ship all custom corporate orders with UPS or Fedex. If you have your own shipping accoutn with Fedex or UPS you can give us your shipper numebr and we can ship the order under your account. Please note that we may still have to charge a small handing fee for packaging your products with ice backs, bubble wrap etc. In the summer, all chocolate items must be shipped so that they arrive within 2 business days. If you place an order through the website and select ground shipping, we may have to upgrade your shipping speed to make sure your corproate gifts will arrive in perfect condition.
Do you ship outside the US?
We do! We frequently ship to Canada, the UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong and other countries. Please be aware that each country has different regulations when it comes to having food products shipped into the country and some countries are incredibly strict. Please send us an email with the items that you are interested in ordering and our shipping department will check the specific regulations for you.
When it's hot outside is my bar in danger of melting?
In the summer months we ship all orders with ice packs and insulated shipping containers. Please make sure that someone will be available upon delivery to receive the shipment and bring it inside in order to avoid unnecessary exposure to the outside heat. During the warmer parts of the summer months Chocomize does not ship on Fridays to ensure that packages do not sit in warm warehouses over the weekend.
